Turn me On

I just saw this card on Pinterest from Lawn Fawn and fell in love with it. Of course I needed to make my own version of it.

I really love the outcome. It is for my boyfriend, so the colours and bling is reduced to a male colour scheme black and white, gray, yellow and red. The background is stamped with the cute stamps from the Lawn Fawn Turn me On set. They have so small but powerfull stamp sets. I used SU Basic Gray as background colour and even altered the paper a bit with it.

I layered the background and the light bulbs, the rest is glued on directly in the same layer. The hearts have a textile look and feel and fit perfect in the scheme to "bling" a male card.

Copics used on the cute light bulbs: C3, C5, C7 and  Y06, Y08, Y15 and Y11.

Mutts and people

After expending my hobbies I made my new years revelations to post more about all my creations and not only my greeting card collections. Therefore, her is one of my newer hobbies: making T-shirts for friends and family.

The family dog is quite happy with these creations. I thought some kind of partner look is OK as long as it is not obvious.

So I used the same theme but different designs for the male and female shirt.

How Old

After one week in my new job I thought I earned some crafting time. My big brothers' birthday will be soon and I started the tradition of funny greetings about his age. Nevertheless, he is 7 years older and I will be always de young, little one :D

This said, I used the cute "You rock" stamp set from Clearly Besotted. The dinosaurs theme fits perfectly in my genre of BBBCards (big brother birthday cards). I only used the warm gray colour scheme of my Copics for the dinosaur (W7-W0), so I got sort of a monochromous look. The paper from Panduro is the Vintage Christmas one and uses a warm gray colour as well.

To get some accents one the card, I coloured the vulcano with purple grays (BV23, BV25 and BV29) and the lava with bright red colours (R59, R46, R37 and R22). It is difficult to see, but the lava is covered in Glossy Accents as the eye catcher of the card.

The vulcano smoke is from Lawn Fawn "Science of Love" set. I used the Sketch Saturday sketch as main inspiration. Did I mention that my fav collours are purple (my big love), black/gray (boring but they look good with everuthing) and red.

Otterly great Birthday

It was a busy week. I just started in a new job. So I had a lot of things to plan and do. But I found a little time to make a birthday card for my boyfriend his special day. It is another Lawn Fawn card, this time it is with the "Year Five" stamp set for the cute otter stamp and the sentiment.

The background paw print is from the Basic Grey set "Paws-itively Fun" (no idea if that is the official stamp set name though).

Furthermore, I used an old Panduro Christmas paper pad to get some colour on this card. This card is sort of the same design as the one I made before. But still like the fast design.

Copics used on the cute otter are: E31, E33, E59 and E51.

You're Smokin'

Today, I made a clean and easy card for a man. So this is a challenge on its own, I had to resist all glitters and bling.

The paper is from the Prima 6x6 paper pad "School memories". It is such a beautiful paper pad. I used the "Let's BBQ" stamp set from Lawn Fawn. Isn't it cute? I used the stamps for the background as well. It is stamped with Stampin' Up Basic Gray ink.

The label is from the Gift card holders from Jamie Lane (Silhouette store).

I'm not so sure to use this one as the intended birthday card, but more a really nice invitation for the BBQ we will held for the birthday :D

The BBQ is coloured with Copics(C7, C5, C3 and R59, R37, R35, R22, R17) the steak (R37, R35, R22 and V000, E35)
